STUDIO DOLCE - THANKS FROM RITA LONG

"I continue to receive ongoing support from Westcoast Music in the form of discounted instruments and accessories, special donations, and excellent advice from owner Shannon Toane.  I am so grateful for the consistent personal service and care I get with each visit to the store.  Much appreciation goes to Ruth Lockwood for her continuing help with song transcriptions, and to new colleague Terry Armitage of  Accent Guitar Studios  for his excellent suggestions and study materials.   I was so privileged to be included with the Brown family as special guests of Paul Rodgers and Cynthia at the recent Paul Rodgers + Queen concert,  To my further delight, a surprise package arrived in my mailbox containing five CD's featuring Paul's recordings.  The  note enclosed read,  "... here is a start to your lending library,  it's all about inspiring"  Kind regards Paul and Cynthia.

Led Zeppelins Little Sister Deborah Bonham & Paul

Deborah Bonham and her band were the Special Guests on Paul Rodgers UK Tour for the first six dates. On the last night before a sold out crowd in Nottingham Rodgers invited Deborah up to sing "Can't Get Enough". He chose this song because it was the first song that Deborah remembers hearing Paul sing when she was just 12. "Deborah has the same sweetness of spirit that he brother John possessed plus she's a fantastic singer who like her brother has great rhythm". Paul Rodgers. Not many realize this but John Bonham was also a good singer and did sing backing vocals on a number of Led Zeppelin's songs.

AFRICAN CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Last year in March when Queen + Paul Rodgers performed in South Africa at Nelson Madela's 46664 concert to raise AIDS Awareness, they met The African Children's Choir. The ACC are ambassadors for 11 million African children who are AIDS orphans! Started in 1984 by Ray Barnett today there are schools established in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa where thousands of children benefit from the work of the Choir. The choir performed with Queen + Paul and sang "We Are The Champions". Paul was touched by their sweetness and braveness, as all are AIDS orphans and gave each of them an English dictionary. This was very exciting to the children because they are all learning to speak english.Plus each of the children were given a new pair of trainers (sneakers) which they desperately needed. This caused great excitement too.
They perform around the world singing and dancing and most recently performed on Live8 in London and have several CD recordings to their credit. Visit www.africanchildrenschoir.com." If ever you get a chance to see and hear The African Children's Choir I guarantee your heart will be uplifted" Paul Rodgers.

THE AFRICAN CHILDREN'S CHOIR IS:
Ben, Bonginkas, Busie, Delsile, Erick, Foster, Jabulani, Jannette, Khanysile, Lasma, Mabel, Melius, Njabulo,
Nosipha, Numfundo, Peaceful, Prince, Ronica, Sakhite, Shirley, Vanessa, Welcome, Zandile, Zuzmuzi
